  • Ernie Ryder: yeah GC, about 5 yrs. old there..yeah the 190's misfortune was all my doin, when i turned the plane on i noticed the ailerons were not aligned with the wing panel so i trimmed them neutral and switched to low rates which was 2 wrong moves, i think the motor just torqued the plane to the left. i had full right aileron when it hit the ground..and yes i checked the aileron direction, and double checked before i killed the power while picking up the parts..just part of the hobby..

HAWKS

Heli Smack Down 4

Welcome to the Hawks Website.

The HAWKS Radio Control Club was formed in the fall of 1977 by a small group of dedicated model airplane enthusiasts. Bob Smorey was the club founder and its first elected president in 1978. The HAWKS have administered several flying sites within Joyce Park and currently run our new facility on Joe Nuxall Way that boasts a 550' by 30' paved runway and taxiways and a new helicopter only site has been built by the HAWKS at the old flying field across the street.

Come on out and fly!
